Dean Gale has been providing construction management services and
advice to private and public owners, contractors, subcontractors and insurers of construction projects since 1988.
He managed
the Irvine office of a prominent construction management and claims consulting firm and served as a construction claims expert
there for thirteen years.
Mr. Gale also managed projects for a prominent Hospital in Southern
California with a $500 Million ten-year building program. There, he held the positions of Director of Construction and Project
Manager. Mr. Gale is very knowledgeable about California OSHPD regulations and administrative requirements.
He has an excellent understanding of computer software and their
business applications. Over the years, he has successfully developed and implemented hundreds of business and construction
management processes utilizing spreadsheet, database, word processing, scheduling, and graphics software.
Dean Gale is considered an expert in the analysis and preparation
of construction delay and productivity claims, project schedules, and the resolution of disputed extra work issues. He has
performed also surety evaluations, construction feasibility assessments, construction risk assessments, and construction defect
investigations.
Mr. Gale has been designated as a construction expert in over fifty
cases and has testified at trial, arbitration, and mediation on numerous occasions.
During the first segment of his career, he acquired twelve years of experience constructing
a wide range of project types for a large General Contractor. Dean Gale has managed both union and open shop projects, and
he held the positions of Project Supervisor, Project Manager, Superintendent, and Quality Control Supervisor.
His
formal education includes a bachelor's degree in Building Construction, with honors, and he is a Licensed General Contractor
in the State of California.
